生活须行善

　　The sting of a reproach,is the truth of it.

　　斥责带来你刺疼，恰好是它的忠诚之处。

　　Virtue and happiness are mother and daugher.

　　美德和幸福快乐宛如母女俩。

　　TAll mankind are beholden to him that is kind to the good.

　　行善者，每个人牢记之。

　　Its the easiest thing in the world for a man to deceive himself.

　　自欺是世界上最易之事。

　　An old man in a house is a good sign.

　　家里有老是一个好征兆。

　　Beware,beware!hell cheatithout scruple,who can without fear.

　　当心，当心!骗取钱财而义无反顾者，也将没有顾忌。

　　How few there are who have courage enough to own their faults.or resolution enough to mend them!

　　认可并纠正错误，必须有充足的信念和信心。

　　Thirst after desert,not reward.

　　渴望美德并非奖励。

　　If thou injurest conscience,it will have its revenge on thee.

　　损害良知，将遭受良知的惩处。

　　If thou wouldest live long,live well;for folly and wickedness shorten life.

　　若贪求长命，生活须行善，由于蠢行和邪惡会把生命减少。

　　Each year one vicious habit rooted out,in time minght make the worst man good throughout.

　　每一年彻底消除一恶习，恶根亦会成完人。

　　If you do what you should not,you must hear what you would not.

　　若干了不可做之事，则肯定会听到不肯听之语。

　　Let thy vices die before thee.

　　让恶习先你去世。
